Bids Farewell to the Principal

 

St. Thomas College, Ruabandha Bhilai, organized farewell function in the honor of Principal     Dr. M.G. Roymon, on his superannuation. Dr. M.G. Roymon   started his carrier as an Assistant Professor in 1986 and served St. Thomas College in the capacity of a faculty member and then as a Principal from 2016 to 2025. The occasion aimed to celebrate the journey and memories of Dr. M.G. Roymon, while wishing him success and good health in his future endeavors. The auspicious ceremony began with a warm welcome speech of the newly appointed Principal- In charge of the college, Dr. Shiny Mendonce. In her address she applauded and appreciated the talent exhibited by the Principal during his working tenure. Manager Bishop, His Grace Alexious Mar Eusebius, Treasurer of the St. Thomas College, Rev. Fr. Thomas Ramban , Administrator of the college, Fr. Dr. P.S. Varghese graced the occasion. Manager Bishop shared motivational and heartfelt note for the Principal and felicitated him with a token of gratitude. Acknowledging the dedicated service of the Principal, His Grace said that the college fraternity is sad about his departure, but grateful for his leadership and vision. Treasurer of the St. Thomas College Rev. Fr. Thomas Ramban expressed his thankfulness by sharing some of his experience with Principal and enumerated his efforts in taking the college to new heights. Administrator, Fr. Dr. P.S. Varghese symbolized   Dr. M.G. Roymon as an epitome of simple and loyal person. Further elaborating on Principal’s tenure, Fr .Dr. P.S. Varghese said that his legacy will continue to shape the institutions future. Dr. M.G. Roymon in his emotional speech, addressed the audience with his valuable words and shared experience of his service in the college and thanked everybody in the august house for showing their love and respect by attending his superannuation ceremony.  Staff members  Dr. Ujwala Supe, Dr. Santosh Miri and Dr. Arvind Sahu also expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the outgoing Principal. The programme was well organized and created a cheerful, nostalgic atmosphere. The proceedings of the program was conducted by Dr. V. Shanti. Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Anubhuti Jha. All staff members of the college were present to bid farewell to the Principal.
