EXCELLANCE IN ACADEMICS

As per the notification released by Hemchand Yadav Vishwavidyalaya, Durg, 44 Students of St. Thomas College Ruabandha, Bhilai have secured prominent position in the University Merit List for the academic Session 2023-24. 8 Students earned 1st position and secured Gold Medal. Among the Students who secured Gold Medal are Ms. Ritu Agrawal of (BBA), Rishi Gupta of (B.Com), Ms. Arpana Kujur of M.Sc (Biotechnology), M. Chaitanya of (M.Sc-Chemistry), Ms. Sudipta Nandi of (M.A-Psychology), Ms. Taniya Chakraborty of (MA English), Ms. Parul Chourasiya of (MA Economics) and Aayushi Gupta of (M.Sc Mathematics).It is glorious moment for the college that other than 8 gold medals, 36 students has secured prominent positions in the University Merit list at UG and PG Level. In B.A Ms. Kusmita Patel secured 2nd position. The students of Management Studies have also excelled in the University exams. Aryan Vishwakarma secured 2nd position, Priya Goyal stood 5th, Chhaya Deshmukh secured 6th and Priyanka Badai secured 8th position. In B.Com Anchal Chandrakar stood 2nd position, Bhumika Nirmalkar secured 4th position, Garima Gupta stood 5th position, Pallavi Singh stood 6th position, Shraddha Singh secured 8th position and Yogita Banjare secured 10th position. From B.Sc. Gunjan Sahu secured 3rd position and Tejsvi Kumar secured 10th position. In MA Psychology Ms. Oorja Barvana got 2nd position; Ravi Kumar secured 3rd position, Ranju Prajapati 5th, Shyamali Mehta 6th, Shubham Kumar 7th and Anuj Kumar secured 8th position. In M.Sc Biotechnology Harshita Bunkar stood 2nd and Jigyasa Sahu secured 5th position. Pragati from M.Sc Microbiology secured 2nd and Kauqub Fatima secured 6th position. Mr. Dhrit Sudhakar secured 4th position in M.Sc Zoology. Kshitij Gupta from M.Sc. Chemistry secured 2nd position. From the PG Department of Mathematics Ms. Shaily Verma secured 4th position. In M.Sc. Physics Anjali Yadav secured 9th and Prachi secured 10th position. Mili Mathew from M. Com. Secured 4th position. In M.A. English Manwatkar Mahek secured 3rd, Manisha Yadav 5th, Sakshi Hirkane 6th, Deepshikha 8th, Arjoo Khan 9th and Swetha S. secured 10th position.
