The Department of Management Studies commenced functioning in the year 1999. The Mission  is to develop Department of Management Studies as a centre of excellence in management education through quality education, training, research, innovation which will eventually nurture employability and entrepreneurship.

The mandate of the department is to create, preserve and disseminate knowledge through conducting classroom lectures, Seminars, Quiz Programmes and weekly Activity Sessions.  The Department of Management Studies aims  to develop holistic managers who internalize a synthesis of conventional and modern management – thinking and who can comfortably adapt to changing business requirements. The program provides the students with various routes to the industry, matching its requirements with their skills and predispositions.

Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] courses offer an opportunity to acquire professional skills in the early stage of their career as a Management Professional. It offers a deep understanding and development of important business skills such as leadership, communication skills, critical thinking, and decision-making. Candidates with BBA degrees can easily form a part of core business, operations or strategy team and can act as the point of contact between the workforce and senior level management.

The Department of Management Studies conducts weekly Activity Class. The idea behind these Saturday Activity classes is to motivate every student to think constructively, increase their creative idea, improve their personality and move forth in life with their head held high.
