Overview

A NCC Unit is functioning in the College which is open for both Senior Division (boys) and Senior Wing (girls). Accommodating 52 Senior Division (boys) and 52 Senior Wing (girls). The 37 CG BN NCC DURG (Unit) organizes ‘B’and ‘C’ Certificate Examinations for the cadets. ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificates are awarded after cadetship of 2 year and 3 years respectively.  Regular parade, incorporating training as per the syllabus prescribed by the DG NCC Delhi is conducted on Saturdays in St. Thomas College, Bhilai Premises. The training includes Drill, Map Reading, Weapon Training, Field Craft, Battle Craft, Social Awareness, Civil Defence Leadership and Camp Activities etc. Cadets are provided with the opportunity of appearing directly for SSB Interviews.

CAMP ACTIVITIES

Several camps are organized throughout the year to enhance the skills of the cadets through their participation in different activities like CATC, EBSB, Trekking, TSC, RDC, Cycle expedition, Army attachments, Para jumping etc. Every parade involves training based on the syllabus prescribed by DG NCC Delhi. The syllabus includes Map reading, Weapon training, Field craft, Battle craft, Social Activities, Civil Defense & Leadership Drill.
