The institute has an active IQAC from 2006 as a post-accreditation quality sustenance activity.

Objective

  1. Promoting measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
  2. Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.

Strategies

  1. Framing  policy for academic and administrative growth of the institution.
  2. Redesigning and maintaining quality assurance within the academic system.
  3. Coordinating with stake holders for opinions and advice for the quality improvement and sustenance and communicate with the concerned for the correction and improvisation.
  4. Integrating modern methods of teaching, learning and evaluation.
  5.  Ensuring credibility of evaluation procedures.
  6.  Upgrading the quality of academic and research programs.
  7. Monitoring  proper implementation and analysis of overall academic and administration performance.

Functions

  1. Communicating  quality assurance policy mechanisms and out come to stake holders through regular notification.
  2. Acquainting the policies and plans regarding quality assurance are communicated through meetings of different sub-committees and in meetings of staff council, non teaching staff and students.
  3. Facilitating the creation of learner centric environment and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.
  4. Organizing orientation programs for faculty, administrative and support staff.
  5. Organizing inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars and awareness programs to improve the quality of education.

Facilitate an environment of excellence in the Institution with focus on mentoring academically sound and morally aware students and contribute to the intellectual, cultural, social and economic development of the faculty and the society.

  • To stimulate the academic environment for promotion of quality of teaching-learning and research. Not only plan and implement the good academic practices but also measures the efficacy of its implementation.
  • To ensure the continuous improvement in the Institution with the active cooperation of all stakeholders.
  • To create a conducive ambience in quality-related research studies, consultancy and training programs.
  • To further the advocacy of NAAC by making quality enhancement the main focus of IQAC.
